9 Early Signs of Pregnancy

So you have been through your deed and you are desperate to know if you are pregnant. Many women go through early pregnancy symptoms. Some start experiencing it after 6 weeks but most of them experience it after 8 weeks of pregnancy. For most women, menstrual cycle may vary month to month which means you don’t know when your periods might start. Late period, blood test and pregnancy test will definitely confirm your pregnancy but until then you can keep notice of some of the early signs of pregnancy.

Here are 0 early indicators of pregnancy:

1. Tiredness

Feeling more tired than you normally do even though you haven’t done anything so mountainous? Well, it is the ever increasing levels of hormones that trigger pregnancy fatigue. Lower levels of sugar and low blood pressure also contribute to the exhaustion. As soon as you begin with your second trimester, you will feel all the energy return to you. It might return later on because you put on considerable weight which makes sleeping difficult. If you continue to feel tired even after taking ample sleep, then ring some alarm in your head and take a pregnancy test.

2. Nausea

Who doesn’t know about morning sickness that accompanies pregnancy? It shows up after a month or two but for some it may begin only after two weeks of conceiving. Nausea that comes with pregnancy can even hit in the noon or night and not just morning. 80 percent of the pregnant women go through nausea and vomiting. As soon as you enter your second trimester, you will get rid of the queasiness. It is your hormonal changes or deficiency of folic acid that makes you go through nausea. Make sure you eat starchy food itemsnthat are easy on your digestive system along with keeping yourself hydrated to ward of nausea.

3. Mood swings

This is among the most common symptoms of pregnancy. You might just feel that your emotions are simply out of track. You might feel weepy but don’t know what you are actually crying for. You might feel detached from your daily chores and out of the ordinary hopeless and sad. If you think negative thoughts have taken over you, you should always look for help. Having mood swings is also premenstrual symptom which is why many brush it off as early sign of pregnancy. This happens because of hormonal fluctuation in your body which influence your neurotransmitters. Different women respond differently to this.

4. Heightened sense of smell

So you feel soaps, meat or perfumes smell too strong to you now? That means you have become more sensitive to certain smells. This is one pregnancy indicator that women tend to feel before they even know that they are pregnant. This increased sensitivity to smell may either make your crave for certain foods or hate the ones you liked once. It can also lead to much hated morning sickness. In case you feel you don’t like a certain food which you used to adore or the smells around feel too strong, then take the hint.

5. Sensitive and swollen breasts

Remember how your breasts feel before your period? Yes, they feel swollen, sensitive and heavier. They feel that way a little more than what they feel before your period in case you have successfully conceived. They become swollen and sensitive again because of the hormonal fluctuations taking place in your body. At times, even the areolas might darken and nipples protrude more than they normally do. You will experience tender breasts after one week of conception. You will get rid of this discomfort as you hit the second trimester. To find comfort from tender breasts, you can wear supportive bra.

6. Frequent Urination

Did you just notice you are urinating more frequently even though you are not taking in a lot of fluid? You can blame this again to the hormonal changes. They trigger increased rate of blood flow to your kidney which makes the bladder fill up more quickly. This in turn makes you urinate more often. This can even make you feel thirstier. Frequent urination is a part of entire pregnancy and it keeps increasing with time. When the uterus expands, it corners the bladder leaving less space for it. This builds pressure on the bladder and makes you run to the toilet more frequently.

These hormones even slow down your digestive system which results in bloating. Many mothers to be also experience constipation, abdominal gas and indigestion problems. It could be an early sign of pregnancy too. Make sure you add more fiber to your diet and remain hydrated.

8. Spotting

When you are trying to conceive, you really don’t want to see any vaginal bleeding or spotting. However, sometimes spotting can mean you are pregnant. In case you notice spotting during or around the due date of period, it can also mean implantation bleeding. It occurs when the fertilized eggs settles in the uterine lining.
