How much should I be eating during pregnancy?

On average you actually only need to eat 300 extra calories a day whilst pregnant. During pregnancy you should be aiming to eat 5 portions of fruit/veg a day. You need to drink at least two litres of water in little sips throughout the day.

Try to avoid excess fried foods and focus instead on fresh food lean proteins and healthy fats. Try to break your meals into smaller portions for example instead of 3 main meals a day try to have 5/6 small portions.
